With an electronic sound that is much fuller than his previous album Total Loss, “What is this heart?” , the third album from How to Dress Well is much more accessible, with an expanded repertoire that made the album much more varied than the last.

I like it.

Yet, I preferred the simplicity, soulful and slight depressing sounds of his last album compared to this. “What is this heart?” sees Tom Krell embrace his pop sensibilities, which isn’t a bad thing to be fair. His first track that he released from his album, Words I Don’t Remember was to me, an expansion of what he did on Total Loss.

It quickly became a favourite of mine.
